Terms of service

Last updated June 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Publish Aid ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of our website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or country of residence (19 in British Columbia) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

The service

Publish Aid provides tools that generate print-ready puzzle book interiors, book content, keywords, images, and related materials. You choose a tool, configure it, and export the result. We work to keep the Service available and the exports correct, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind except as required by law.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Credits and payment

Generation runs on credits. Each puzzle or generation costs credits as shown before you run it, and credits do not expire. See pricing for the available packs. Purchases are processed by our third-party payment processor; by buying credits you also agree to that processor's terms. Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Except where required by law (including the consumer-protection laws of British Columbia), credit purchases are final and non-refundable, and credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. If credits are deducted but a generation fails to produce a result, those credits are returned to your balance.

Your content and exports

Everything you export is yours to use and publish — on Amazon KDP or anywhere else, commercially or otherwise, with no attribution required. We claim no ownership over the content you generate. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to store, process, and deliver that content to you and to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and publish, including ensuring it does not infringe any third party's rights and that it complies with the rules of any platform you publish to.

AI-generated content

Some features use third-party artificial-intelligence models. AI output can be inaccurate, may resemble other works, and its eligibility for copyright protection can vary by jurisdiction. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is original, unique, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any output before you rely on or publish it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with the credit system or any security feature;
  • overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • resell or sublicense access to the Service itself;
  • use the Service to create unlawful, infringing, harmful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content, or content that violates a third party's rights;
  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party platform policy.

Accounts that breach these rules may be suspended or terminated.

Trademarks and third-party platforms

Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), and all related logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Publish Aid is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Amazon.

The Service integrates with and references third-party services and platforms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), or any other platform we help you publish to. All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners, and any reference to them is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform's own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.

Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including our software, designs, branding, and the Publish Aid name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exports will meet any specific platform's requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Publish Aid and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Publish Aid and its operators from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing in this section limits the consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of British Columbia.

Changes to these terms

If these Terms change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
